Preston Guild Hall Ltd is located on Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 1HT, opposite the Town Hall.
The pay and display multi story car park above the Central Bus Station provides direct pedestrian access to the venue.* Preston’s prime central location means that as a city it is easily accessible from anywhere in the country with the M6, on the doorstep of the city, boasting 5 major junctions and direct links to the M65 (East Lancashire), the M61 (Manchester) and the M55 (Blackpool).
Preston is a principal station on the West Coast Main Line from London to Glasgow and benefits from Virgin Trains new tilting high speed trains cutting journey time down dramatically.
Two International airports, Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon are within a one hour drive from the city offering an enviable choice of airline connections and destinations.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PARKING –
Due to works being carried out on the Bus Station Car Park, the overpass between Preston Bus Station Car Park and Preston Guild Hall is closed until further notice. At present, parking is only available on levels 4-9. If you have a pre-booked discounted car park tickets via our box office, please use levels 8 & 9 only and display your ticket clearly in your windscreen.
Patrons will need to use the Central or North stairwells, where either stairs or lift access will take you to the ground floor Bus Station concourse. Once at ground level, you will come out the bus station itself. Please follow directional signage to the pedestrian crossing which will take you across the Bus Station apron and around the side of Preston Guild Hall to the main entrance.
Disabled parking is on floor 1 of the multi storey or alternatively blue badge parking is available on Lord Street adjacent to the Guild Hall with a short walk to the entrance.
