Hi, do you like a laugh?
Comedy for Kids is a stand-up comedy show just for kids! It has some of the funniest people from the world of comedy! Hosted by your favourite Panto star Phil Walker, and featuring comedians that will have you rolling about with laughter! Oh and kids, make sure you bring your grown-ups so you can explain the jokes to them!
MC: Phil Walker
Straight from starring in our very own Preston Panto he is back to his “day job”! Phil is one of the UK’s finest comic talents. Since being voted City Life comedian of the year at the comedy store in 2002, Phil has gone on to headline at all the big comedy clubs both here in the UK and internationally. He’s even been on telly a few times you know! His act has taken him from Skegness to Afghanistan where he entertained over 4000 troops on two tours (basically he will go anywhere for a laugh)!
“Walker is crackingly good!” Chortle
Milo McCabe as Troy Hawke
Milo McCabe is a character comedian with over ten years’ experience on the circuit. He has twice been nominated for the Amused Moose Best Edinburgh show award and was listed as GQ’s Top Ten comedy shows of the festival. TV credits include ITV’S Benidorm, BBC3’s Live at the Electric and various hidden camera and talking heads projects on Channel 4 and 5. Troy Hawke is an erudite home-schooled 1930’s throwback…the Errol Flynn of the high street. Educated, sophisticated, but utterly clueless. He tackles modern issues head on in his uniquely untimely manner. Kids will love his character he is superb at crowd interaction!
“Undeniably funny” Chortle
One of Wales’ finest funny men, Noel is also an actor, comedian and writer whose quick wit, warmth and charm have served him well in the stand-up comedy clubs of the UK and overseas. He has been involved in both performing and writing for theatre, schools, radio and television. Noel has performed comedy throughout the UK. He does it for a living and has performed at all the major clubs and festivals. Glastonbury, Reading and Edinburgh to name but three. Before entering showbiz old Noel tried his hand at teaching. Without much success, he taught English as a foreign language: he taught it as Welsh! Noel’s surreal, bizarre, absurd, intelligent and general daftness will have both adults and kids laughing their heads off!
