Chinese New Year Celebration Performance

Nanjing Little Red Flower Art Troupe, founded in the 1950s, is the first children’s art troupe in China. At present, there are nearly 200 students aged from 6 to 12. The troupe frequently performs in the National Chinese New Year Gala on China Central Television, at various children’s art festivals in and out of China, and also perform for the heads of state, foreign delegations and diplomatic envoys to China.
The performers have visited many countries and districts in Asia, Europe and America, and have received generous praise from the local people, regarding the Little Red Flower as “the best children’s art troupe in the world”, and “remarkably talented little artists”. The troupe was twice awarded “National Advanced Group of Children’s Cultural Work” by the Chinese government.
